... Fire Weather Watch in effect for all South Florida fire weather zones with the exception of coastal Collier and far South Miami- Dade from Wednesday morning through Wednesday afternoon for four or more consecutive hours of relative humidity below 35 percent...
The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a Fire Weather Watch... which is in effect from Wednesday morning through Wednesday afternoon.
A very dry air mass will spread across South Florida following the passage of a strong cold front late tonight. However... abundant sunshine on Wednesday will allow air temperatures to warm into the mid to upper 60s. The mild temperatures... when combined with the very dry air... will allow relative humidity values to fall below 35 percent for several consecutive hours across most of South Florida... prompting the issuance of this Fire Weather Watch.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible red flag warnings.
